Do you clean the window sills and frames?
Yes, we clean all of your external windows, frames, sills and doors.
How do I pay you?
We accept automated payments via GoCardless, electronic bank transfer or cash. To set up automated payments please click here. You can make bank transfers from your online or mobile banking. Our details are on the slip that we post to let you know each time we have visited.
Do I have to sign a contract or agree to a minimum number of cleans?
No, we don’t tie you into a contract, you are free to cancel your window cleaning service at any time.
How often do you visit?
We offer 2 or 4 weekly services for our regular customers. We won’t always visit on the same day of the week but you’ll receive an SMS notification the evening before each visit so that you know we’re due.
Do you offer one-off cleans?
Yes we do. When you request a quotation we’ll reply with a price for both one-off and regular cleaning.
My windows are very dirty, are you sure you’ll get them clean for the price quoted?
The price that we quote for regular and one-off cleaning does not include removal of paint splashes, cement, egg, sellotape, sealant, glue, resin, grey PVC, etc. We can remove these as part of our deep cleaning service. Removal of baked on dirt, bird muck, green algae, heavy dust, etc. are all included in the price we quote for standard window cleaning.
Do you use a telescopic pole or the bucket and squeegee method?
We typically use the water fed pole method as it is much safer for our operatives. If it is a necessity for us to use the traditional squeegee method then we will do so. Examples of necessity are delicate windows on listed buildings or cleaning of internal windows.
Do you clean windows in the rain?
Yes we do. The water that we use to clean your windows is pure water and rain is also pure water so your windows will still be cleaned to a high standard. If the rain is heavy or there are high winds we may have to rebook your cleaning. We offer a rain guarantee so if we have cleaned your windows in the rain and you feel that they are not cleaned to to usual standard just get in touch and we’ll clean them again free of charge.
I don’t have a gate or rear access, can you still give me a quote?
Yes we are happy to quote for front windows only, just let us know that’s what you require when you fill out our quotation form. Sorry but we won’t come through the house as our hose may damage your carpets or furniture. We’re happy to come though a garage though.
Will you climb over my gate if I leave it locked?
Sorry but we don’t climb over gates for the safety of our operatives and to avoid damaging your gate. If your gate is locked we will clean the windows that we can access and charge you accordingly.
Do you clean internal windows?
Yes we do, just mention that you’d like your internal windows cleaned when filling out our quotation form.
Do you clean Velux windows / skylights / dormer windows?
If we can reach your velux windows from the ground then we can clean them although the window cleaner cannot apply the pressure necessary to remove baked on dirt as the equipment we use is very lightweight. We would recommend that you flip the window over and clean them from inside as demonstrated in this video from Velux windows.
Do you clean conservatories?
Yes we can include your conservatory windows in our regular window cleaning. We also offer one-off deep cleaning of conservatories using environmentally friendly soaps to clean the glass, roof, gutters and PVC.
Do you clean garage doors?
Yes we can include your garage door in with your window cleaning.
Can you tell me what time you will be arriving?
Sorry but we don’t offer time slots for our regular window cleaning service. We will arrive to clean your windows some time between 8.30am and 5pm. We can give you an approximate time for one-off cleans.
How do I cancel my window cleaning service?
If you would like to cancel your service just give us a call or send us an online message and we’ll remove you from our round. If you’re moving house we may be able to come with you. See the areas we cover here.
